The first dish I can remember coming up with was created when I was no younger than 7. I experimented by starting with a base of mushrooms chopped in to tiny slivers, and then seasoned with the entire contents of the spice cupboard along with a few dollops of marmite. I wasn’t too sure of it, however my dad ate it with what only can be described as a look of intense concentration. He said he did this face when something tasted really very special.

After that moment I wanted to explore more with food.

And now I would like to document how I made student living just a little more comforting. Now that I’m not a student anymore, I am refining my knowledge and educating myself by taking advantage of some of the best food spots in London.  I’ve always loved making meals for my family and friends, I think it goes along with being a drama student and wanting the appreciation, but there’s something so gratifying about creating a plate of something really effing delicious.

So without further a do, eat, drink and be merry. But mostly eat.
